Las Vegas Streamline Tower Pours Concrete For Las Vegas Condominiums
Streamline Tower Las Vegas pours concrete for downtown Las Vegas condominiums.
The 3rd largest continuous cement pour in Nevada history. Streamline Tower's Las Vegas foundation requires a continuous pour of 6,700 square yards of concrete. 350 cement trucks will be pouring for approximately 14 hours, at 5 pour stations, two at a time. This will be quite a feat, for both coordination and cement production.
Martin-Harris Construction poured the foundation for the new 22-story Streamline Tower in downtown Las Vegas. The event took place at Las Vegas Boulevard North and Ogden Street. Thirty-five workers placed the concrete or roughly 670 truck loads worth during the marathon.
Rinker Materials supplied the concrete for the foundation pour, which took place from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Corus Bank of Chicago is financing the 275-unit Las Vegas condominium tower. Developed by Barclays North of Everett, Wash., the 700,000-square-foot high-rise will have 12,000 square feet of retail space and seven levels of parking. The Streamline Tower Las Vegas is scheduled to open next year.
